- HK tax treatment: Wall bed is capital asset, not deductible expense (unless self-employed home-office portion).
- VAT / GST: No VAT in HK; price you see is final.

FAQ for expats
Can I commit before I've signed my HK rental lease?
Yes, but with caveats. Pre-deposit consultation + 3D rendering is free. Actual deposit (30%) we'd typically defer until you have a confirmed lease. We can do 100% remote design work ahead of time and only execute deposit after you sign rental lease.
What if my move-in date slips?
Common with expat relocations. We accommodate ±2 weeks at no charge. Beyond that: HKD 800/week storage fee, parts kept in our Kwun Tong warehouse. Maximum 8 weeks storage.
What if my HK flat is different from the floor plan I sent?
We adjust based on final site visit measurement. Minor adjustments (panel size, finish color) free. Major changes (bed size from queen to single, etc) HKD 800-2,000 admin fee + production timing reset. Site visit is the final authoritative measurement.
Can my employer / relocation company pay directly?
Yes. We invoice corporate accounts directly (USD or HKD). Standard payment terms 30 days from invoice. We provide W-9 / equivalent tax forms upon request. Many global mobility firms (Mercer / SIRVA / Cartus) we've worked with.
What about my furniture from home country — wall bed vs ship existing?
Most expat shipments are 200-400 cubic feet. Wall bed adds nothing (we manufacture in HK). Saves international shipping HKD 8-15k for a queen bed-sized item. + you don't have a foreign-spec mattress that may not fit HK's outlets / wall structure.
