My unit is small, 200-300 sq ft — can it be a wall bed studio?
Yes. Single wall bed (160cm) folded up only takes 32cm wall depth, freeing 22 sq ft of floor. A 200 sq ft studio can become a professional 1-on-1 teaching space + sleeping at night. We've had a client with a 220 sq ft studio set up a complete Zoom tutor setup.
What if students / parents see the bed and it looks unprofessional?
Wall bed folded up is 100% hidden inside the wall cabinet, appearance is exactly like a normal cabinet / bookshelf. Students / parents won't know there's a bed behind the wall. We can do a hidden door panel (bookshelf style +HKD 3,200), or specific wood-grain to match the classroom style.
Can piano / instrument teachers use it? Is there enough space for a grand piano?
Yes. Wall bed (queen) folded up frees 35 sq ft, enough for a baby grand piano (180×148cm) + student chair + teacher chair. We've had a client who is an ABRSM piano teacher, teaching professionally in a 200 sq ft studio.
For online tutors making videos, is a wall bed suitable as a background?

Our installation has HKD 10 million insurance. But your home practice business liability should be covered separately (public liability insurance HKD 800-1,500/year). If a parent / student is injured in your studio due to the wall bed, our insurance plus your liability provides double coverage.
