What about my kid's old furniture?
We can help arrange donation (e.g. Salvation Army / Hong Chi Association / charity furniture recycling) or resale (Carousell / second-hand HK). We don't charge, just coordinate. Kid's photos / keepsakes (teddy bear / graduation cert etc) can hide in wall bed under-storage compartment, kid sees them on visits.
50+ — is wall bed easy to operate?
Operation is very simple. SBLM hardware has oil-pressure cushion; one-handed pull down or push up (5-8 kg force, lighter than opening a door). We can add grab bar + motion light + emergency lock for senior-friendly setup. We have 50+ customers using 3-5 years zero issues.
When kids visit, can they sleep immediately?
Yes. Wall bed has independent spring mattress (we recommend IKEA Hövåg HKD 2,000 or King Koil HKD 5,500), 5-second pull down to sleep. 10x more comfortable than sofa-bed, cheaper than hotel each visit. Kids visit 3-4×/year, 2-year payback.
Want to do home gym / yoga / theater — is wall bed suitable?
Very suitable. Bed folded releases 90% floor. We have customers who add home theater + exercise bike post-wall bed. With sofa-combo can also become movie night sofa.
Old building — wall feasible?
We have experience with 70-80s estates (e.g. Mei Foo Sun Chuen / Taikoo Shing / Kornhill). Site visit ultrasonic check on wall structure, 95%+ private estates feasible. Public housing needs Building Authority consent (we handle). 1960s tong lau case-by-case evaluation.
