- 10cm internal gap: When bed is up, frame + mattress have 10cm air gap. Even if pet accidentally inside, can still breathe (we've never had this incident)
- Oil-pressure cushion: Bed lowers smoothly (no "thud" sound) — won't startle dog / cat
- Low formaldehyde (E0 plywood, < 0.5mg/L): Lower than EN71 pet toy standard
- Low VOC (water-based finish): 28g/L, no pet sensitivity
- 5x cycle install test: Confirms stable open-close, won't catch pet fur / tail

Will dog / cat scratch the wall bed wood grain panel?
We have anti-scratch finish (HKD 1,200) — surface coating hardness 6H, 3x stronger than standard cabinetry. 100+ pet households 5 years: zero scratch incidents. Standard wood panel: dog claws / cat scratches will mark; anti-scratch finish: won't.
When bed is folded, can dog / cat get trapped inside?
No. SBLM 3-level safety lock — bed closing requires manual two-handed trigger, can't auto-close. Plus our wall bed when folded has 10cm internal gap (between frame + mattress) so even if pet accidentally enters, can still breathe. We recommend: train dog / cat to recognize close action + confirm before closing.
Dog / cat fur cleaning — easy with wall bed?
Yes. Bed folded = floor released = vacuum faster (fur usually accumulates under-bed which is hard to clean). Mattress with dust cover (HKD 800) — when bed folds up, fur falls onto cover, take it out and wash. 80% easier than traditional under-bed fur balls.
I sleep with my dog — how stable is the wall bed?
Very stable. SBLM 750kg dynamic load (large dog + owner + mattress = max 200kg, still has 3.7x safety margin). We have customer with 38kg labrador + 70kg owner, 5 years daily wall bed zero mechanical failure.
Dog / cat is sensitive — is wall bed paint / VOC safe for them?
We use E0 plywood (formaldehyde 0.3mg/L) + water-based paint (VOC 28g/L), lower than pet toy standard (EN71 pet toy allows VOC 200g/L). Ventilate 1-2 weeks post-install before pet enters.
