Wall bed from deposit to completion takes 6-8 weeks. Plus you'll want to avoid these periods:
- Late pregnancy — avoid paint / VOC: After completion, best to ventilate 2-3 weeks before moving in
- Maternity leave — ideally don't overlap with renovation: Parents want to finish decorating before baby is born
- September school season: Designer schedules are tighter, July-August will be overbooked

Our wall bed design considers baby's growth stages from age 0 to 12+. One frame, internal configuration adjustable, no need to renovate for every stage.

Transition from cot crib. We can add fall prevention rails to wall bed bedside, with toddler-size mattress. Baby learns to sleep independently.
4-7 歲

FAQ
How long before baby is born should renovation start?
Recommend starting consultation at pregnancy 4-6 months. From deposit to completion takes 6-8 weeks. After completion, best to ventilate 2-3 weeks to let VOC (paint, formaldehyde) dissipate. Renovating too late may affect pregnancy or baby's health.
Is the paint / wood used in wall beds safe for baby?
We use E0-grade eco-friendly plywood (formaldehyde emissions < 0.5mg/L, 比 baby toys標準仲低) + water-based wood paint (VOC < 30g/L). ventilation 2-3 weeks後達零異味標準. 我們可以提供材料 cert 副本.
Is it safe for parents and baby to sleep together on a wall bed?
Strongly recommend baby uses independent cot crib (HK Consumer Council standard), parents use wall bed alongside. 0-12 months HK Department of Health guidelines recommend separate bed but same room. Wall bed frees up space for cot crib + parents' bed. We can help source cot cribs.
Will the wall bed become outdated when baby grows up?
No. Our wall bed frame can last 25+ years, internal configuration can be replaced in stages. E.g. 0-3 years cot crib pad → 4-7 years toddler mattress → 8+ years single mattress. Frame and hardware unchanged. Saves 70-80% vs renovating for every stage.
Where do I stay during renovation while pregnant?
4-6 hours on installation day, no need to move out, but recommend leaving home that day + ventilate overnight. The process involves no large amounts of paint (mainly pre-fab wood assembly). If you want to be extra cautious, a one-day hotel staycation.
Can we still install a wall bed after baby is born?
Yes, but needs coordination. We'll try to schedule around baby's awake times (e.g. construction during baby's morning nap). Noise (wall drilling 15-30 minutes) may affect baby. Recommend completing before baby is born, or waiting until baby is 6 months old.
