How long does wall bed installation take?
Standard installation takes 2-3 hours onsite for a single wall bed. More complex configurations with integrated desks, shelving, or lighting may take 3-5 hours. Our 2-person professional team handles everything from wall preparation to final testing.
Do I need to prepare my wall before installation? / 我需要自己處理牆身嗎？
During the site assessment we check wall type, stud locations, and structural integrity. Most standard Hong Kong concrete or brick walls require no special preparation. For drywall or thin partitions, we use specialised anchors or recommend a backing board. We handle all wall preparation as part of the installation.
Can you install a wall bed on any wall type?
Our wall beds can be installed on concrete, brick, and most structural walls. During the free site assessment we verify wall suitability. For non-standard walls (drywall, glass partitions, thin slab walls), we provide alternative mounting solutions or backing boards to ensure safe 750kg load capacity.
Is the installation messy? / 安裝過程污唔污糟？
We use dust extraction tools and lay protective floor coverings. Minor drilling is required for wall anchors, but our team cleans up thoroughly after installation. Most clients are surprised at how clean the process is.
What happens after installation is complete?
After installation, our technician walks you through daily operation, safety features, and maintenance tips. We perform a 5-cycle open-close test to confirm smooth operation. You also receive your 10-year transferable warranty documentation.
Can I install the wall bed myself? / 我可以自己安裝嗎？
We strongly advise against DIY installation. The SBLM mechanism requires precise calibration of gas strut tension, anchor torque, and pivot alignment — incorrect installation can be dangerous. Our installation is included with purchase and backed by warranty. Self-installation will void the warranty.
