Written quote and contract checklist
Use this checklist to review the supplier’s proposed terms before paying a deposit. This page is guidance for an enquiry; it is not the supplier’s actual contract, a warranty certificate or an offer of fixed terms. Existing signed terms continue to apply.
1. Identify the parties
Confirm WALLBED KING (HK) as the product, installation, invoice and warranty provider on the quotation. Ask for the supplier’s legal/business details and the person responsible for your order. Wallbed by Design coordinates marketing enquiries.
2. Specify the selected configuration
Record the mechanism brand and model, mattress dimensions and permitted thickness/weight, cabinet dimensions and finish, opening clearance, operating instructions and fixing method. Obtain the model-specific load specification and site-assessment requirements.
3. Itemise the full price
Ask for separate entries for the bed, cabinet, mattress, delivery, installation, access constraints, removal and any extra work. Confirm which items are included and the total before agreeing.
4. Agree payment and cancellation terms
Record deposit amount, payment stages, accepted methods, charges, cancellation/refund rules, change orders and when production starts. Do not infer an automatic cooling-off period from this checklist.
5. Confirm installation and handover
Agree timing, building permissions, access, wall/floor conditions, protection, clean-up and acceptance checks. Ask the installer to demonstrate opening, closing, locks and the applicable safety instructions.
6. Obtain the warranty in writing
The partner brochure advertises a ten-year SBLM mechanism warranty. Ask which model and components it covers, the start date, labour and visit fees, maintenance requirements, exclusions, claim contact and whether transfer or relocation is allowed. Cabinet and mattress cover may differ.
