In Hong Kong's compact living spaces, wall beds (or Murphy beds) are a practical solution, but many homeowners wonder: "Does folding away the bed affect feng shui?" 1. 牆床「無床」狀態是否算「缺角」？
Does a Folded Wall Bed Count as "Missing Corner"?
傳統風水認為睡房缺角影響健康運，但現代觀點認為：牆床收起時不視作缺角，因床體仍存在於牆內空間。重點是：
- 收起後建議保持牆面整潔，避免雜物堆積形成「煞氣」
- 若房間本身有缺角（如多邊形格局），需用傢俬或屏風化解
- WALLBED KING的牆床設計厚度僅18-22cm，收起後幾乎與牆面平齊
Traditional feng shui considers missing corners harmful, but modern interpretations state that a folded wall bed doesn't count as a missing corner since the bed physically remains within the wall. Key notes:
- Keep the wall surface tidy when folded to avoid "sha qi" (negative energy)
- For inherently irregular room shapes, use furniture or screens to balance
- WALLBED KING's designs protrude only 18-22cm when folded
2. 床位方向點先算吉利？
What's the Auspicious Bed Orientation?
無論牆床或傳統床，風水原則一致：
- 避免「沖門」：床頭/尾不對正大門、廁所門或廚房門（可用屏風或櫃體遮擋）
- 龍強虎弱：床左側（龍邊）空間宜比右側寬敞，WALLBED KING可定制左開或右開款式
- 靠實牆：牆床展開時，床頭應靠實牆而非窗戶或玻璃（安全感與穩定性）
Wall beds follow the same feng shui rules as regular beds:
- Avoid "charging doors": Don't align the bed with entrance/toilet/kitchen doors (use screens or cabinets as buffers)
- Dragon over Tiger：Left side (dragon side) should have more space than right (customize opening direction with WALLBED KING)
- Solid wall support：When unfolded, the bedhead should lean against a solid wall, not windows
