How much does a wall bed cost?
Wall beds start from HK$20,000. Ask for an itemised quote for the selected bed and cabinet, mattress, delivery, installation, access requirements and extra work. The starting price is not a fixed total for every room.
Who supplies the product and warranty?
Wallbed by Design is the marketing and enquiry partner. WALLBED KING (HK) provides the product, installation, invoice and warranty. Confirm the responsible entity on your quote.
Which size or configuration fits my room?
Prepare room dimensions, door and lift access, the intended bed size, and photos of the proposed location. Check opening clearance and access in both open and closed positions. Final dimensions depend on the selected design.
Can I use my existing mattress?
Send the exact mattress dimensions, thickness and weight. The selected mechanism and cabinet determine compatibility; do not assume that all mattress types or thicknesses fit.
How should I check safety and load rating?
Ask for the mechanism brand/model, applicable load specification and installation instructions. Wall condition, fixing design, room access and operation must be assessed for your selected installation. A generic online calculation cannot establish suitability.
How long do production and installation take?
Ask the supplier to confirm the programme after the configuration and site conditions are known, including building permissions, delivery access and any extra work. Obtain the agreed schedule in writing.
What does the warranty cover?
The supplier brochure advertises a ten-year SBLM mechanism warranty. Confirm the selected model, covered parts, labour, visit charges, maintenance, exclusions and transfer conditions in writing. Cabinet and mattress cover may be different.
Are maintenance visits or relocation included?
Ask what maintenance the selected manufacturer requires and which services are included or chargeable. Moving or reinstalling a wall bed needs assessment and a separate agreed scope; inclusion, pricing and continued warranty must be confirmed.
What are the payment and refund arrangements?
Request the actual supplier terms before paying: total, deposit, payment stages, accepted methods, charges, production-start date, cancellation/refund terms and acceptance process. This website does not create a fixed cooling-off or refund promise.
Can I see a bed in person?
Arrange a visit to the Kwun Tong partner showroom and wait for a confirmed appointment before travelling. Confirm the address, time and sample configuration available for your visit.
